Return & Refund Policy

Guidelines for cancellations, damages, and wholesale returns.

General Return Conditions

As a B2B wholesale distributor, Mahalaxmi Electric Trading Co. generally operates on a non-returnable basis for correctly supplied goods. Returns are only considered for manufacturing defects or shipping errors notified within 48 hours of delivery.

Damaged or Defective Goods

  • Transit Damage: Any visible damage to outer packaging must be noted on the Proof of Delivery (POD) at the time of receipt.
  • Manufacturing Defects: Items like MCBs, Switchgear, or LED lighting found to be defective are covered under the respective manufacturer’s warranty (e.g., C&S Electric or Panasonic).
  • Inspection: We reserve the right to inspect returned items to verify the defect before processing a replacement.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned under any circumstances:

Cut-to-length wires & cables
Custom-fabricated Busbar Chambers
Special indent/Non-stock items
Items with broken original seals

Order Cancellation

Orders for standard stock items may be cancelled before dispatch. Once goods have left our warehouse or the manufacturer's facility, cancellations are subject to a 15% restocking fee plus applicable two-way freight charges.

Refund Process

Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method or credited to the client's commercial account within 7-10 working days after the returned goods have passed technical inspection.
